Over 150 professional cyclists in a 100 km Ride waving Bahrain Flag
Bahrain, 17 December 2020: Kooheji Development, one of the largest real estate developers in Bahrain, organized ride for professional cyclist in celebration for Bahrain National Day. The ride start and finish points were in Kooheji’s Onyx Bahrain Bay.
The professional cyclists ride was organized to celebrate the National Day. It started at 6:00 am in the morning when the cyclists started their 100 km ride all the way to the south of Bahrain.
By the end of the Ride, all cyclists received a medal as a token of appreciation achieving first 100 km Cyclists National Day ride.
Kooheji Development presented an award of appreciation to Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Cycling Federation, for their great support in preparation for this National ride.

Mohamed Abdulghaffar AlKooheji said: “With Allah’s blessings we were able to achieved a massive national 100 km ride with professional cyclists. We were able to combine our love to the Sport of Cycling with celebrating our beloved National Day. “We would like to thank all participants in this event, from cyclists to organizer and the Bahrain Cycling Federation for the continuous support in organizing this event. This is our first activity that we organized as Kooheji Development with our own team and we interned to do more such events in the near future to raise awareness about healthy and active lifestyle. We want to communicate what makes cycling popular , especially now as it can be done while adhering to social distancing guidelines. It allows us to enjoy the natural great outdoor sceneries. We have chosen Onyx Bahrain Bay as a location or the ride due to its strategic location, it has the right features for such a sport and athletes who are looking for indoor or outdoor sports. ONYX Bahrain Bay will have, upon completion, a state-of-the-art fully equipped Gym and spa with unmatched facilities and panoramic breath-taking views over Bahrain Bay.
